Esher Fair returns in October

The Esher Hall Antiques & Fine Art Fair takes place in the Esher Hall at Sandown Park Racecourse, in Esher, Surrey in October.

A fine pair of ormolu mounted and cut-glass Regency period candelabra, English, 12" high x 11½" wide, c 1815, £4,800 from Fileman AntiquesOrganised by The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited, the fair has prices from £100 to upwards of £50,000. As well as the event’s regular faces, new dealers include Catherine Hunt Oriental Antiques specialising in Chinese porcelain, Deco Original with Art Deco furniture and accessories; Augustus Brandt’s carefully chosen antiques and luxury lifestyle pieces; Fileman Antiques’ lighting and glass; Jonathan Knight Sculpture; Lucy B Campbell Gallery’s emerging contemporary British, European and A Kangxi Doucai plate, c1710, £6,500 from Catherine Hunt Oriental AntiquesAmerican artists; and vintage watch specialist Timewise.

Some highlights of the fair include a George III period mahogany breakfront bookcase from S & S Timms Antiques, c 1800, for sale at £17,500; and an extensive selection of clocks from French Louis XVI to Empire examples from Richard Price of BBC Antiques Roadshow fame.

Elsewhere, decorative items, country oak and jewellery are all well-respresented. The Fair takes places from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th October 2016.
