Five Finds at Bath Decorative Antiques Fair
With the Bath Decorative Antiques Fair returning to the west country, visitors can expect to find an eclectic mix of different styles of antiques from a range of eras, including English Country house, through mid-century design and industrial chic, to Swedish painted furniture.
While the fair takes place from March 9 to 11 at The Pavilion in Bath, we’ve scoured the list of leading antique dealers taking part to give you a sneak peek of five choice finds, ranging from French furniture to stone owls.

The fair has remained at the same wonky Bath Pavilion since the launch back in 1989 and quickly fills up with eager exhibitors each year, keen to secure a place at what is reliably expected to be a busy event teeming with buyers from the UK, EU and USA.
Dealer profiles
- Kent’s Erna Hiscock and John Shepherd, Cherrie and Michael Todd from Somerset, Terry and Marie Kelly from Somerset and Appledore Antiques, Devon, all of whom specialise in naïve, country furniture, Folk Art, samplers and early pottery.
- Belgium’s Archives with decorative furniture and unusual accessories and glass, Bohm’s Antiek from Sweden with painted Swedish provincial furniture and Mark Blower Antiques, Channel Islands, with period portraits, colonial antique furniture and accessories.
- Linda North from Hertfordshire, who’s stand will be laden with urns, jardinieres, wirework garden furniture, statuary and objects.
- Large scale shop counters, dressers and antiques for the garden will be showcased by Kent dealers Elham Antiques.
- Nordic contemporary design will be well represented by Swedish by Design, Dorset and Nordic period painted furniture from The Swedish Room, Hungerford.
- Emily’s House, Tetbury, deals in Berber, Turkish nomads – and handmade Kilims, vintage Beni Ouarain and Moroccan rugs and will show how to use these period rugs and textiles in the modern interior.
