Get gothic at Winter Fair

The Winter Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair takes place later this month at Battersea Park.

The event will once again feature an unusual display in the foyer, with this fair’s subject being a 21st century interpretation of Gothic design. The Fair will offer a fresh perspective on how this style – which originated as light, delicate and highly decorated grandeur – can work in new ways for today’s interiors.Gothic Gets a 21st Century Restyle at the Winter Decorative Antiques & Textiles FairAround 145 exhibitors will be taking part in the winter edition of the Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair, bringing a wide range of period design, encompassing the practical, the statement piece, the eccentric and the purely elegant.

There will be furniture and objects for sale dating back to the 17th century and up to the 1970s, ranging from furniture (fine, formal, country and decorative antique, art deco and mid-century designs) lighting, and accessories (mirrors, glassware, ceramics, treen), to collectors’ items including fine and vintage couture jewellery, textiles and art of every kind from folk to contemporary.

Here’s just a small selection of what you can expect to find between 24th to 29th January.
