Hungarian Ceramics exhibition in Kings Lynn

HungarianA collection of post-war Hungarian ceramics is currently on display at the King’s Lynn Art’s Centre in Norfolk.

Over 400 hundred objects from the Graham Cooley Collection are spread over four galleries at the art centre.

Hungarian1The exhibition features work from leading artists who, during the period 1945 to 1990, developed their work in isolation from the West behind the Iron Curtain. There are 687 ceramic pieces and 104 painting on display.

The Forma Hungarica exhibition continues until Saturday 20th June in the Shakespeare Barn, Fermoy Gallery and Red Barn at the King’s Lynn Arts Centre in King Street. Admission is free.
