The annual week-long LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair, the hugely popular event amongst international collectors and buyers, returns to the elegant surroundings of Berkeley Square in London’s Mayfair for its ninth edition in September.

Over 100 prominent specialists will be brought together for a week, offering highly sought after works in a broad variety of disciplines, including decorative arts, furniture, fine art and jewellery from antiquity to the present day. Visitors have the opportunity to discuss objects with leading dealers.

The LAPADA Fair is the flagship event of LAPADA the Association of Art & Antiques Dealers, the largest society of professional art and antiques dealers in the UK. As such, visitors can have confidence that each exhibitor, as a member Loiseau Gustave Place de LEtoileof LAPADA, must adhere to a strict Code of Practice and an expert committee of 70 specialists is assigned the task of pre-vetting every piece individually for authenticity.

Mieka Sywak, Director of the LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair, comments: “I am delighted to announce that the dates for the 2017 edition of the LAPADA Fair means it will run from Friday through to Wednesday. This will give us the opportunity to bridge two weeks in September and will allow us to benefit from coinciding with London Fashion Week (15th – 19th September), which attracts thousands of additional international visitors to central London. We will also run alongside the 20/21 British Art Fair, which takes place for the first time at The Mall Galleries, St. James’s, London SW1 (13th – 17th September).”

TheLAPADA Art & Antiques Fair takes place on Friday 15 September until Wednesday, 20 September.
