Map Fair heads to London

MapFairEurope’s largest specialist map fair returns to the capital in June with British map sellers exhibiting alongside dealers from the USA, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Greece.

Since 2008 the London Map Fair has been held at the Royal Geographical Society in South Kensington.

Map fairs in London have a continuous history stretching back 30 years with the current fair described as ‘one of the most important annual events for dealers, curators and collectors from around the world.’

With prices ranging from a few pounds to many thousands, it is also a great opportunity for novice collectors to learn from experts in the field.

The 2015 event on June 6 and 7 includes a large selection of original antique maps for sale, ranging in age from the 15th to the 20th centuries.
