Local boy David Harper will value collectors’ treasured belongings as well present a series of talks on antiques.
The three-day break will also include tours of nearby attractions, including Barnard Castle, famous for its antique shops and the Bowes Museum.
David, an expert on Antiques Roadtrip and Bargain Hunt, said: ‘’I’m particularly excited about the Headlam Hall event as it’s the first one that includes not only valuations and talks, but a real rummage around the antiques shops and centres of Barnard Castle. This is my home territory, which is great as I know all the dealers and the best places to go too.”
Headlam Hall, a Jacobean, family-owned manor house, dating back to the 17th century is set in picturesque Teesdale in the Durham dales.
The antiques lovers break runs from March 18 to 20 more details are available at www.headlamhall.co.uk
